Cin7 Custom API Integration
A Client running Cin7 had a requirement to integrate the Inventory Optimisation Solution ‘SlimStock’.
There is no existing Cin7 integration for SlimStock, the tools within Cin7 for extracting data are unable to be run as a scheduled task or deliver files automatically. A further requirement was to dimension the extracted data to suit the SlimStock inbound specification.
The requirement was to create a way of extracting the required data from Cin7 in an automated fashion and then transporting the data to SlimStock to be inbounded.
The solution was to create a utility that was able to access the Cin7 API and extract the Cin7 data as required. Once the data was extracted, it was then re-dimensioned to the SlimStock data layout then transported to SlimStock for inbounding.
This extract runs nightly as a scheduled task.

Apparel 21 Advanced Inward Goods Utility
A Client running Apparel 21 was have issues in the warehouse when receipting contrainers. The information comming from suppliers and freight forwarders was not complete or timley. They needed a spreadsheet to be able to manage the unloading and putting away stock that would show all the information in one place.
The native Apparel 21 reports and extractions utliities did not provide a solution to this. Also there were some specific requirments in relation to production orders and primary locations that were extreamly difficult to combine withing the native solutions.
I created a utility that alowed the fast extration of data directly from their Oracle database using a combination of ODBC and Excel VBA. It has multiple filters for flexability. All filters use drop down selection from the ERP system.
The data ended up in a colour coded sheet which staff could use for making notes or filtering of the receipt lines. It has the ability to print out a sheet with the exact format and columns required for use by warehouse staff. The print sheet tab colour matched the extract colour for ease of use.
Apparel 21 / SlimStock Direct Integration
Similar to the Cin7 integration above, a Client running Apparel 21 had a requirement to integrate the Inventory Optimisation Solution ‘SlimStock’.
The solution involved a combination of direct SQL queries on the Oracle Database feeding into the SlimStock Microsoft SQL database server along with some re-dimensioning of data and then inserting into the MSSQL DB. Some of the tables we up to a million records. This had to be done in a scheduled and timely manner.

A Client running Apparel 21 had a requirement to generate catalogues based on a wide array of parameters.
They want to be able to make wholesale and retail version, with or without availability displayed, Option for filtering only instock items and much more. Then the abailty to generate a PDF and also output to Email lists.
